The polar night starts here in Hetta Enontekiö around December 7 and ends on January 6. The polar night means that the Sun doesn't rise at all. However, it doesn't mean that is is dark all the time. There is a few hours of daylight during the day, around 10 am. to 2 pm and that is about time of amazing pastel colors. There is snow on the trees most of the time in midwinter, when nature turns into a winter wonderland. All this makes midwinter a beautiful time. It is also time when you need to be prepared for cold weather and for short daylight hours.

The Northern Lights

Enontekiö is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights, because our location is far North. If the sky is cloudless, it is likely to see the Aurora Borealis. There is no any light pollution around the glamping. The Northern Lights are natural phenomenon, their appearance cannot be guaranteed.

Activities
